"Milumni"

 "Milumni" is a word mashup of "military" and "alumni."

We want to make "milumni" a mainstream term: to re-brand "veteran” and the stigma associated with it.

Milumni was founded in 2020 with the vision of creating a high-level network for veterans of the U.S. military who are now in the workforce and community, with a focus on economic opportunity and wellness. Membership is intended for Milumni to fill contracts for employment as independent contractors or small business owners, and to provide social support and engagement within an exclusive network. 

Milumni LLC is a for-profit business with the primary mission to provide a hub for business owners and independent contractors to discover and fill available contracts for work. Milumni's secondary mission is to elevate military veterans who are underemployed, are chronically unemployed, or who are seeking small business ownership, by providing skilled workforce training and/or facilitating sponsorship for specialized certifications or licensing in their desired industry. This program will produce upskilled workers and entrepreneurs who will be newly positioned with an economic advantage and high-level support network.

To become a Milumni member, military veterans are welcome to complete this form at no charge. Membership is free! 

Additionally, members have the option to create and own a personalized, company-branded email account (i.e. yourname@milumni.com) for $125 for the first year and $90 per year thereafter.* (Sponsorship opportunities are available.)  Email service is intended to provide Milumni members with a branded, company-official email account for purposes of finding and securing gainful employment. Email service setup is as easy as creating a new email address through Google's Gmail (which hosts your new personal email), and will function exactly like a Gmail except your email domain will be @milumni.com (instead of @gmail.com). Your personalized email account will only be accessible to you. Upon activation, login instructions will be sent to you where you'll immediately be prompted to update your password. Email Name reservations are processed in the order received (via completion of this time-stamped form). (Please allow up to 24 hours for processing to begin and subsequent activation of your email account.)

You will receive confirmation immediately and your email account is officially reserved upon completion of the form; however, please allow up to 24 hours for response. You must complete the form for each new membership and one email reservation is processed per submission of the form.
