Milumni was founded in 2020 with the vision of creating a high-level network for veterans of the U.S. military who are now in the workforce and community, with a focus on economic opportunity and wellness.

- Membership is intended for Milumni members to fill contracts for employment as independent contractors (individual veterans) or small business owners (veterans who own a business), and to provide social support and engagement within an exclusive network.
- Milumni LLC is a for-profit business with the primary mission to provide a hub for business owners and independent contractors to discover and fill available contracts for work.
- Milumni's secondary mission is to elevate military veterans who are underemployed, are chronically unemployed, or who are seeking small business ownership, by providing skilled workforce training and/or facilitating sponsorship for specialized certifications or licensing in their desired industry. This program will produce upskilled workers and entrepreneurs who will be newly positioned with an economic advantage and high-level support network.
- Additionally, members have the option to create and own a personalized, company-branded email account (i.e. yourname@milumni.com).* Email service is intended to provide Milumni members with a branded, company-official email account for purposes of finding and securing gainful employment.
- Milumni membership is open to veterans from all five U.S. Military branches.
